PMGC 2025 Grand Finals: Dates, Teams, Format, and How to Watch

PUBG Mobile fans, get ready!


PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025 Grand Finals are officially set to begin this week on December 12 at Siam Paragon in Bangkok, Thailand.


It's a three-day event running until December 14, bringing together 16 of the world’s best teams for an intense showdown across 18 matches. With a $3 million prize pool and unique rewards on the line, this year’s finals promise to be one of the most memorable in PUBG Mobile history.

The Grand Finals will unfold over three days, with six matches scheduled each day (time in Indian Standard Time):


Day 1 – December 12

  • Match 1: Rondo – 4:30 PM

  • Match 2: Erangel – 5:10 PM

  • Match 3: Erangel – 6:00 PM

  • Match 4: Erangel – 6:40 PM

  • Match 5: Miramar – 7:20 PM

  • Match 6: Miramar – 8:00 PM


Day 2 – December 13

  • Match 7: Rondo – 4:30 PM

  • Match 8: Erangel – 5:10 PM

  • Match 9: Erangel – 6:00 PM

Alter Ego Ares and Team Flash secured their spots through the Last Chance stage held on December 6–7, which drew over 1.2 million viewers worldwide, according to organizers.


Defending champions Dplus KIA return with hopes of repeating their success, while Alpha Gaming and R8 Esports are tipped as strong contenders.


Format and Smash Rule

  • 18 matches across three days.

  • First two days follow standard scoring rules.

  • Day 3 introduces the Smash Rule:

    • A team becomes “Match Point Eligible” once they surpass the Match Point threshold (leader’s score after Match 12 + 10 points).

    • If that team wins a Chicken Dinner afterward, they are instantly crowned champions.

    • If no eligible team secures a win, the overall points leader after Match 18 takes the title.


Prize Pool and Special Rewards

  • Total prize pool: $3 million.

  • Balenciaga will award custom championship jackets to the winning team.

  • The Grand Finals MVP will receive a Porsche Cayenne, a rare off-stage prize that adds extra prestige.
