Red Bull India Announces Two-Day VALORANT Mentorship Workshop with V3nom in Pune

Red Bull India has announced a structured mentorship program called "Red Bull Under My Wiiings," featuring veteran Indian esports personality Ankit "V3nom" Panth, aimed at aspiring professional VALORANT players.

The initiative brings together a select group of 20 participants for a two-day workshop scheduled for March 28 and 29 at the Ministry of Esports Café in Pune.

The venue is one of India's well-known premium gaming spaces, making it a fitting setting for an event of this nature.

With only 20 spots available, the program is clearly built around quality over quantity, ensuring each participant gets meaningful access to one of India's most respected names in PC esports.

V3nom holds a distinct place in India's gaming history. He is the country's first gaming Red Bull Athlete and a retired professional player who competed actively from 2008 to 2019, primarily in Counter-Strike. Over more than a decade of competition, he represented India on numerous occasions and built a reputation that extends well beyond his playing days.

Since retiring, he has taken on roles as a leader, mentor, and content creator, continuing to shape the ecosystem he grew up in.

The workshop itself is structured to cover a wide range of areas relevant to players who are serious about going professional. Sessions will include discussions on the realities of competitive gaming, high-level decision-making, and the core fundamentals needed to compete at a higher level.

It is not just about sitting in a room and listening, though.

The program also features multiple scrim blocks focused on player evaluation, live coaching sessions, review segments, and adjustment rounds.

Players will get to participate in a community match alongside V3nom, followed by a showmatch-style draft and a closing mentorship and Q&A session.

Beyond the in-game side of things, the program also covers the broader esports landscape. Topics such as the path to becoming a professional player and content creation as a parallel career avenue within the industry are also part of the conversation. That kind of holistic approach is something that sets this workshop apart from a standard gaming bootcamp.

Commenting on the initiative, V3nom shared his thoughts on what drove him to create something like this. "When I started competing over 17 years ago, India's esports ecosystem was very different from what it is today. As a kid in a completely new industry, I had to figure everything out on my own and navigate a complex space with no proper structure at the time. While things have evolved, aspiring esports athletes still lack structured mentorship on how to navigate this ecosystem. Through Red Bull Under My Wiiings, I aim to help improve not just in-game skills, but also the out-of-game mindset and requirements that are equally important," he said.
