Rockstar GTA 6 Pre-Load Date and Size Confirmed

Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be available to pre-load from November 10 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The game launches on November 19, so the timing leaves a little breathing room.
When Does the GTA 6 Pre-Load Start?
As per the official Rockstar Games website, the start time depends on your platform. PlayStation 5 owners get access at midnight in their own local time on Tuesday, November 10. Xbox Series X|S players get a single global start at 12 a.m. GMT on the same date.
Players who bought code-in-box versions will not need to wait for the digital window. Retailers are expected to have those copies from November 12.
Xbox Pre-Load Times by Region
Since the Xbox start is tied to GMT, here are some common equivalents:
Pacific (PST): 4:00 PM, November 9
New York (EST): 7:00 PM, November 9
Paris (CET): 1:00 AM, November 10
India (IST): 5:30 AM, November 10
Beijing (CST): 8:00 AM, November 10
Tokyo (JST): 9:00 AM, November 10
Seoul (KST): 9:00 AM, November 10
Sydney (AEDT): 11:00 AM, November 10
PlayStation 5 players do not need to do any conversion. The window simply opens at midnight wherever they are. Step by step instructions are available on the Rockstar Support site.
How Much Storage Will You Need?
This is the part that might sting. The pre-load file requires up to 212 GB, depending on your device. That is a big chunk of any console drive, so a cleanup is probably in order. Some older single-player games and live service titles may have to go.
There is a small bonus. On November 19, Rockstar will add a printable Grand Theft Auto VI cover art poster and a map of Leonida to the official site as free digital downloads. A double-sided physical version will follow shortly after launch. It costs $0.99 on its own, or players can get it as a free gift with any purchase from the Rockstar Store.
