Silent Hill f is back in the spotlight—this time thanks to a leaked video that shows off the game’s eerie opening moments. The footage was captured during a private Konami panel, where attendees were reportedly banned from using phones or cameras. Well, someone clearly didn’t get the memo.

The leak, which was first uploaded on YouTube, offers fans a chilling first look at the atmospheric intro of Silent Hill f. While the video doesn’t dive deep into combat or mechanics, it sets the tone with a slow, suspenseful sequence. According to a Reddit user who attended the event, the clip mostly shows protagonist Shimizu Hinako walking through a wooded path and approaching a shrine—so don’t expect heavy action just yet.

Here's another leak, this time it's from Anime Expo:

Here's more:

The game is set in 1960s Japan, in the quiet mountain town of Ebisugaoka, where teenager Hinako must navigate a series of terrifying events that blur the lines between folklore and reality. Along the way, players will encounter puzzles, twisted enemies, and—unsurprisingly—a hefty dose of dread.

So far, Konami has confirmed four main characters:

  • Shimizu Hinako (the protagonist)

  • Iwai Shu

  • Nishida Rinko

  • Igarashi Sakuko

And there are four monsters stalking the shadows, each with names as haunting as their designs: Kashimashi, Ayakakashi, Oi-omoi, and Ara-abare.

According to the official description, “As she navigates the twisting paths of Ebisugaoka, Hinako must solve puzzles and fight for her life in her struggle to survive.” Sounds like classic Silent Hill tension with a Japanese horror twist.

Silent Hill f is officially scheduled to release on September 25, 2025, and it’ll launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
