Sonic The Hedgehog Teams Up With Asphalt Legends Unite for Racing Event

Sonic The Hedgehog Teams Up With Asphalt Legends Unite

Sonic the Hedgehog has jumped into the world of high-speed racing thanks to a fun new collaboration with Asphalt Legends Unite.

The popular mobile racing game now features the iconic blue blur and his crew in a special limited-time event running from May 29 to June 26.

The highlight? A brand-new game mode called Collector Mode, where players zoom around tracks collecting golden rings—just like in classic Sonic games.

But it’s not all about grabbing rings. Fans will also get to race to the beat of signature Sonic music.

The crossover includes a bunch of Sonic characters via themed car decals. Expect to see familiar faces like Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Dr. Eggman, and even the adorable Chao.

These character looks can be applied to various cars in the game, and Sonic himself appears on the SSC Ultimate Aero TT, a brand-new vehicle made just for this event.

A new Boss Mode has also been added, where players go head-to-head with AI opponents driving Sonic-themed cars. Each boss is themed after a different Sonic character, and the races get tougher as you go, keeping things fresh and challenging.

This event is part of SEGA’s larger "Racing Around The World" campaign, which celebrates Sonic’s legacy across different platforms. The partnership makes a lot of sense—both franchises are built around fast-paced, competitive racing.

The event also lines up perfectly with the game’s current "Pinnacle of Speed" season, making the Sonic crossover feel like a natural addition.
