Fortnite is reportedly gearing up for a major crossover with South Park.
Although Epic Games hasn’t confirmed anything yet, a recent leak from well-known Fortnite insider HYPEX, who has a solid history of accurate predictions, suggests the event could be more than just a set of shop skins.
Instead, it might launch as a fully themed in-game event, complete with a lineup of content inspired by the iconic animated series.
The leak outlines several features expected to arrive with the South Park crossover:
Multiple skins designed as mechs
Rift Anomaly: “Everyone Kills Kenny”
At least one boss on the map
Stick of Truth Mythic item
Respawn Token/Medallion
An unknown consumable
Additional unlisted features

The idea of mech versions of South Park characters continues a trend Fortnite has used for smaller character models. The Simpsons-themed skins from the most recent season used the same scaling approach with Bart and Lisa, and this technique was also seen during the Rick and Morty crossover. While this keeps gameplay balanced, some fans have voiced concerns that it sacrifices authenticity in how characters look compared to their source material. Still, the approach ensures fairness across matches, and it’s likely Epic will stick to this formula for South Park’s cast.
One of the more intriguing elements is the Stick of Truth mythic. The name references the 2014 Ubisoft RPG South Park: The Stick of Truth, which was praised for its faithful adaptation of the show’s humor and storytelling. Mythic items in Fortnite are typically powerful and often tied to boss encounters, so it’s possible this new item will be linked to the rumored boss fight.
Another standout addition is the potential Rift Anomaly inspired by South Park’s long-running joke about Kenny’s recurring deaths. Rift Anomalies are special modifiers that can alter gameplay in unique ways, and according to the leak, this one would reward players with a respawn token—a nod to Kenny’s constant returns.
Epic Games has not officially confirmed the South Park crossover or revealed a release date yet. Fortnite recently rolled into Chapter 7 and is gearing up for its annual winter event, which means the calendar is already packed. Fans are hoping the collaboration lands sometime this December, though some reports suggest it could slip into early 2026.
Until Epic breaks the silence, players can only speculate about when Kyle, Stan, Cartman, and Kenny will make their Fortnite debut. But if the leaks are accurate, the wait might be well worth it.
