The First Descendant Players Receive Free Rewards Amid Trading System Issues

Nexon has announced that The First Descendant players can now claim free in-game rewards as part of an apology for recent problems with the trading system.

The developer cited a “security vulnerability” that caused inconvenience for the community, and the compensation package is available until December 12, 2025, at 11 PM PST.

If you log in before the deadline, you’ll find the rewards waiting in your in-game mail. The bundle includes 1 Crystalization Catalyst, 100 Superconductive Cooling Units, 5,000,000 Gold, and 500,000 Kuiper Shards.

Alongside the rewards, Nexon has rolled out the Trade Market BETA, which can be accessed through the updated TFD Companion App (version 1.0.4) on iOS and Android. The beta currently allows trading with Gold, letting players list and purchase items. While item-to-item trading isn’t available yet, Nexon has said they’ll monitor how the system performs before deciding if it’s feasible.

Trading was initially delayed from the start of Season 3 Episode 2, but it’s finally here. The season itself has been well-received, thanks in part to a flashy Bayonetta crossover.
