Timothy "TimTheTatman" Betar has hit his highest peak viewership in five years, thanks to the buzz surrounding Battlefield 6’s early access and first open beta.
The veteran American streamer, known for his strong FPS background, has been a familiar name in the gaming community since his Twitch debut in 2012. Over the years, he’s built a massive audience playing titles like Counter-Strike, Fortnite, Overwatch, and World of Warcraft. After an exclusive move to YouTube in 2021, Tim returned to Twitch last year, now multistreaming to both platforms — a strategy that’s clearly paying off.
According to Stream Charts, TimTheTatman dominated Twitch between August 4–10, 2025, pulling in a staggering 2.88 million hours watched — the highest among all streamers that week, beating top names like ExtraEmily and Jynxzi. The timing was perfect. Battlefield 6’s early access kicked off on August 7, followed by open beta on August 9, and with Twitch Drops tied to beta access, fans swarmed streams to secure their keys.
Tim fully embraced the hype, committing to a 16-hour marathon stream on launch day. That session alone peaked at 207,744 concurrent viewers, his best number since 2020. Even more impressive, the stream averaged nearly 150,000 viewers, contributing over 80% of his total weekly watch time. His multistream on YouTube added another 24,750 peak viewers, showing his reach isn’t limited to just one platform.
