The Tokyo Game Show 2025 is still a couple of months away, but preparations are already in full swing — and it’s shaping up to be the biggest edition yet.
Organizers from Japan’s Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) have confirmed that 772 exhibitors are lined up as of July 8, spread across a whopping 4,083 booths, making this the largest TGS in its 29-year history.
Set to take place from September 25 to 28 at the Makuhari Messe International Conference Hall in Chiba, Japan, the event promises something for everyone. The first day is reserved for business attendees, while the general public can dive into the action from September 26 onward. Tickets for public entry go on sale starting July 12, so if you're planning to visit, mark your calendars.
Out of the total exhibitors, 473 are domestic and 299 are international, which speaks volumes about the event’s global appeal. On the Japanese side, expect to see industry heavyweights like Capcom, Bandai Namco, PlayStation, Sega, KOEI TECMO, Square Enix, and Kadokawa. Internationally, big names such as Riot Games, Electronic Arts, and Annapurna Interactive will also be in attendance.
But it’s not just the AAA studios making an appearance. According to the exhibitor details shared by CESA, this year’s show will also spotlight indie developers, hardware brands, lifestyle companies, and even online-only exhibitors (2K/Take-Two Interactive and Xbox), giving fans a wide mix of content to explore.
The final exhibitor list will be officially released on September 25, right when the event kicks off.
