Riot Games has officially unveiled the VALORANT Champions 2025 bundle, a new set of exclusive weapon skins and cosmetics designed to celebrate the biggest tournament of the year, the VCT Champions 2025.

Like previous years, Riot has tied the Champions bundle to the VALORANT esports ecosystem, with a portion of sales going directly to participating teams. But this year’s edition comes with fresh twists — new designs, upgraded effects, and even a brand-new type of cosmetic that hasn’t been seen in past Champions bundles.

Release Window and Availability

The Champions 2025 bundle goes live in VALORANT’s in-game store on September 4, 2025, and will remain available until October 9, 2025.

That gives players about five weeks to make a decision, which nicely overlaps with the VCT Champions tournament itself, running from September 12 to October 5 in Paris, France.

Once the collection leaves the store, it won’t return in the same form. Past Champions skins have become rare collector’s items, and while there’s always the chance they appear in limited-time offers like the Night Market, players shouldn’t count on it.

Theme and Design

This year’s theme is called “Go for Gold”, featuring a luxurious black-and-gold style with glowing red accents and plenty of tournament branding. Instead of the Phantom, which took the spotlight last year, 2025’s bundle highlights the Vandal, one of the game’s most iconic weapons. The collection builds on Riot’s tradition of turning Champions skins into showpieces, adding animations and finishers that react to in-game performance.

What’s Inside the Champions 2025 Bundle?

Here’s a full breakdown of the contents, based on Riot’s reveal and early gameplay previews:

  • Champions 2025 Vandal

    • Black-and-gold rifle with textured details and glowing red highlights.

    • Champion’s Aura: red glow when you’re the top fragger, shifting to gold as kill streaks stack.

    • Hot Streak effect: weapon transforms fully into gold after kills.

    • Custom animations and a finisher that turns the battlefield into a gold-glowing network.

    • Special inspect animation with a countdown to the Champions Grand Final (October 5).

  • Champions 2025 Butterfly Knife (Melee)

    • Sleek black blade with intricate gold engravings and glowing red accents.

    • Smooth animations and kill finishers designed to feel “champion mode.”

  • Champions 2025 Trophy Flex

    • A brand-new cosmetic type for Champions bundles.

    • Functions as a small interactive trophy, rumored to include a kill counter and musical effects.

  • Accessories

    • Player card, gun buddy, and spray — all styled with tournament branding for subtle but thematic flair.

Pricing Details

The full bundle costs 6,620 VP, which roughly translates to around $70 USD. That’s slightly higher than last year’s Champions bundle, but the inclusion of the Trophy Flex and extra detailing explains the price bump.

Individual items can also be purchased:

  • Vandal – 2,675 VP

  • Butterfly Knife – 5,350 VP

  • Accessories (Spray, Gun Buddy, Player Card, Flex) – typically range between 875–1,350 VP

As with other premium skins, unlocking full animations and effects requires Radianite Points, which can be earned through gameplay or purchased separately.

More Than Just Cosmetics

Beyond the skins themselves, the Champions 2025 bundle carries real importance for the VALORANT competitive scene. Riot confirmed that 50% of net proceeds from the bundle will be shared directly with the 16 participating teams. Last year’s Champions collection brought in over $44 million for organizations, according to official reports, making it one of the largest single revenue streams for VALORANT esports.

With the $2.25 million prize pool already locked in for this year’s event in Paris, the bundle’s revenue will provide an extra boost to players and organizations competing at the highest level.
