Hazelight Studios' newest co-op game Split Fiction features impressive voice acting that brings its characters to life. The game continues the studio's tradition of delivering high-quality performances alongside engaging cooperative gameplay.
Split Fiction tells the story of two unpublished authors, Mio and Zoe, who find themselves trapped in a simulation of their own stories. These main characters are voiced by talented actresses who help create the emotional connection players feel throughout the adventure.
Mio is voiced by Kaja Chan.
Kaja Chan is an actress known for her work in both video games and television. She has previously lent her voice to roles in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty (where she contributed to the DLC), Foamstars (as Soa), and The First Descendant (as Valby).
Beyond gaming, she’s recognized for portraying Miss Weston in Bridgerton and Mei Mei in 1899. Her performance as Mio, a reserved and pragmatic sci-fi writer, marks her first major leading role in a video game, where she brings depth and seriousness to the character’s emotional journey.
Zoe is voiced by Elsie Bennett.
Elsie Bennett has built a solid reputation in the video game industry with roles in titles like Hitman 3 (Imogen Royce), Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint (multiple voices), and Control (additional voice cast).
She’s also known for playing Kariel Seldon in the TV series Foundation. As Zoe, the optimistic and fantasy-loving counterpart to Mio, Bennett delivers a bubbly and trusting energy that complements the character’s whimsical nature, making her a standout in Split Fiction’s narrative.
Split Fiction launched on March 6, 2025, continuing Hazelight's tradition of creating cooperative experiences where players must work together to progress through the story. The game blends sci-fi and fantasy elements as players explore both characters' fictional worlds, with each environment reflecting the personality of its creator.
The supporting cast includes Ben Turner as J.D Rader and Joshua Hayes as Mr. Hammer, along with over 40 other voice actors who populate the rich world of Split Fiction.
Hazelight Studios previously created A Way Out, featuring Leo and Vincent, and It Takes Two, which focused on May and Cody. Split Fiction builds on this foundation with Mio and Zoe's story, offering another emotionally engaging cooperative adventure that challenges players to work together while enjoying a character-driven narrative brought to life by talented voice performers.
