WWE 2K25 is officially set to launch for the Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23, 2025, bringing the next-gen wrestling experience to Nintendo’s newest console.
Originally released in March for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, WWE 2K25 is the latest entry in the long-running sports entertainment franchise.
The upcoming Switch 2 version will match the current-gen edition in terms of features and content — a first for the series on Nintendo hardware.
The Nintendo eShop listing for the game is already live, and pre-orders are open. Players who pre-order will receive the Wyatt Sicks Pack as a bonus, which includes MyFACTION persona cards for Uncle Howdy, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy, and Erick Rowan.
One of the biggest highlights in this release is The Island — a WWE-themed open-world mode that features dynamic environments, interactive challenges, themed arenas, and live events. This new mode adds a layer of immersion that’s relatively fresh for a WWE 2K title and gives Switch 2 owners something substantial to look forward to.
Alongside The Island, WWE 2K25 brings a roster of over 300 Superstars, including current wrestlers, WWE Legends, and Hall of Famers.
Intergender wrestling is now officially part of the game, and the revamped MyRISE mode introduces a unified storyline filled with unlockables, new brawl settings, and progression choices.
The Showcase mode focuses on The Bloodline's Dynasty, narrated by none other than Paul Heyman, offering players a documentary-style dive into one of WWE’s most dominant storylines. Meanwhile, MyGM mode now supports four-player multiplayer, giving fans more strategic depth and competitive play.
For those interested in extra content, 2K also offers special editions like the Deadman Edition and Bloodline Edition, which come packed with exclusive cosmetics and bonuses.
While 2K hasn’t specified performance details for the Switch 2 version just yet, expectations are high given the console's upgraded specs.
