Microsoft continues to expand its Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) offerings with the largest update yet to the Stream Your Own Game feature.
Starting today, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can stream 22 new owned titles directly from the cloud — no download or console required.
This update brings the Stream Your Own Game library to over 100 playable titles, further reinforcing Microsoft's push to make gaming more flexible and device-agnostic.
What Is 'Stream Your Own Game'?
Stream Your Own Game is an Xbox Cloud Gaming feature launched in November 2024 that lets Game Pass Ultimate subscribers stream digitally owned games, even if those games aren’t part of the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
Unlike Remote Play, which requires a console to be powered on, Stream Your Own Game runs via Microsoft’s cloud servers, allowing users to play anywhere with a solid internet connection.

Skull and Bones, developed by Ubisoft, is an open-world action-adventure game released in 2024, focusing on naval combat and piracy in the Indian Ocean during the Golden Age of Piracy. Players captain customizable ships, engage in tactical sea battles, and build their pirate empire through exploration, trade, and plundering. Despite its ambitious premise, the game received mixed reviews due to repetitive gameplay and a lack of depth in its live-service model, though its stunning visuals and ship customization were praised.
Sleeping Dogs, released in 2012 by United Front Games and published by Square Enix, is a gritty open-world action game set in Hong Kong. Players control Wei Shen, an undercover cop infiltrating a Triad organization, blending intense martial arts combat, driving, and a compelling narrative. Its rich story, vibrant world, and engaging mechanics earned it critical acclaim, though it remains an underappreciated gem.
The Life is Strange series, developed by Dontnod Entertainment and Deck Nine, is a narrative-driven adventure franchise known for its emotional storytelling and choice-based gameplay. Starting with the 2015 original, players control characters with supernatural abilities, like time manipulation or telepathy, navigating themes of identity, loss, and relationships. Titles like Life is Strange: Before the Storm and Life is Strange 2 expanded the universe, with Double Exposure (2024) continuing Max Caulfield’s story. The series is celebrated for its diverse characters, impactful decisions, and evocative music, though some entries faced criticism for pacing or technical issues.
