Microsoft has confirmed the second wave of titles leaving Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass at the end of January 2026.
A total of seven games will drop out on January 31, including:
Cataclismo (Windows)
Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector
Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders
Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap
PAW Patrol World
Shady Part of Me
Starbound
Starbound (Windows)
Some of these titles are relatively short, making them achievable before the deadline:
PAW Patrol World can be completed in under eight hours, offering quick Gamerscore for achievement hunters.
Shady Part of Me also takes around eight hours, with most of the challenge tied to collectible hunting.
Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders offers 1,000G in under ten hours, though its tougher completion and DLC can stretch playtime to 30 hours.
Starbound can technically be finished in under ten hours using console commands, though standard completion takes 12–15 hours on PC.
Other titles demand more time and effort:
Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector features 30 achievements, requiring 15–20 hours to unlock.
Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap is the most time-intensive, with completion estimates ranging from 80–100 hours.
Cataclismo, a real-time strategy and city-building game, doesn’t have a clear completion estimate, but its difficulty-related achievements suggest a tough challenge.
Spotlight on Departing Titles
Cataclismo (Digital Sun / Hooded Horse): A dark fantasy RTS blending tower defense and fortress-building mechanics. Praised for its Lego-inspired construction system and strategic depth, with a Metacritic score of 82.
Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector (Jump Over The Age / Fellow Traveller): A narrative-driven sci-fi RPG with dice-based mechanics, acclaimed for its writing and atmosphere. Steam reviews sit at 92% positive.
Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders (Megagon Industries): A downhill skiing and snowboarding spin on Lonely Mountains: Downhill, praised for satisfying controls and addictive gameplay loops.
Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap (Robot Entertainment): A third-person tower defense action game with roguelite elements, offering chaotic combat and co-op play. Generally positive reception, with OpenCritic around 77.
PAW Patrol World (Outright Games): A kid-friendly open-world adventure based on the popular series. Safe and enjoyable for younger audiences, though basic for others. Metacritic score: 68.
Shady Part of Me (Douze Dixièmes / Focus Entertainment): A puzzle-platformer using light and shadow mechanics, praised for its artistic direction and emotional narrative. Metacritic scores in the high 70s.
Starbound (Chucklefish): A 2D sandbox survival game set in space, often compared to Terraria. Known for exploration and content variety, with a Metacritic score of 81.
For now, players have until January 31 to dive into these seven games before they disappear from the subscription library.
