Zentreya Becomes Most-Watched English VTuber of Q2 2025, Surpassing Ironmouse

Zentreya has officially become the most-watched English-speaking VTuber of Q2 2025, clocking in 4.72 million hours watched, according to new data from StreamsCharts. This marks a significant milestone, as she dethroned previous chart-topper Ironmouse, who led in Q1 but fell to third place this quarter.
Zentreya’s surge is largely attributed to her first-ever subathon held in June, which greatly amplified her watch hours and helped strengthen her presence on Twitch. This strategic move not only drew in her dedicated fanbase but also attracted new viewers, solidifying her Twitch dominance during the April to June period.
Close behind Zentreya were Hololive EN’s Koseki Bijou with 4.54 million hours watched and Ironmouse with 4.53 million. Both maintained strong numbers but couldn’t quite outpace the momentum generated by Zentreya’s marathon content.
Rounding out the English top five were Mori Calliope (2.7M) and Shylily (2.42M), continuing to show consistent engagement across their communities.
Meanwhile, on the global stage, Japanese VTubers continued to dominate overall viewership numbers. Sakura Miko secured the global top spot with a staggering 12.48 million hours watched and an average of 30,000 viewers per stream.
Kuzuha followed closely with 10.44 million hours and the highest number of streamed hours among the top 10, maintaining an average of over 25,000 viewers.
One emerging trend highlighted in the Q2 data is the continued growth of Twitch as a preferred platform for VTubers. Although YouTube still leads in total VTuber viewership—especially among Japanese talents—more creators are migrating or expanding to Twitch. Over 60% of active VTuber channels are now streaming on Twitch, thanks to its interactive community tools, easier monetization paths, and stream-friendly features.
