Riot Games has announced that its free-to-play fighting game 2XKO will arrive on consoles in January 2026.
The title, which has already been available in early access on PC (via the Riot Client), is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, giving console players the chance to dive into Riot’s latest expansion of the Runeterra universe.
While an exact release date has not been confirmed, the game is already available to wishlist.

2XKO brings together champions from Riot’s popular franchises, including League of Legends and the hit Netflix series Arcane. At present, the roster features 11 playable characters, though Riot has confirmed that more will be added over time.
This steady expansion is part of the studio’s plan to keep the game evolving, with new champions and updates rolled out regularly.
The game first launched in closed beta on PC before moving into early access in October 2025. Riot has stated that 2XKO will remain online throughout its development, aside from short maintenance periods, allowing players to continue enjoying the game while new content is introduced.
One of the standout features of 2XKO is its full cross-play and cross-progression support. This means players can compete with friends across platforms and carry over all their skins, unlocks, and progress from PC to console seamlessly.
As for Xbox Game Pass, Riot has not yet confirmed whether 2XKO will be included in the subscription’s lineup of benefits. Other Riot titles, such as League of Legends and Valorant, have offered perks to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, so fans are hopeful that similar rewards may eventually extend to 2XKO.
