Riot Games has officially confirmed that Teemo, one of League of Legends’ most iconic champions, is joining the roster of its upcoming fighting game 2XKO.

The reveal came through a two-minute trailer, showcasing the Yordle’s mischievous playstyle and confirming his arrival as the game’s tenth fighter on October 7, 2025, when the game enters early access.
If you’ve played League before, you’ll recognize a lot of Teemo’s tricks. According to the trailer, his move set in 2XKO mirrors his MOBA roots, focusing on zoning and traps. He can fire projectiles across the screen, plant mushrooms that explode on contact, and even use foliage to teleport around the stage.
On top of that, he has the ability to take flight, making him a highly mobile and unpredictable fighter.
Riot has also added a unique mechanic where Teemo earns badges mid-match by pulling off specific combos, which then grant him buffs.
Teemoe is the smallest character in the game so far, and likely one of the most unique.
Interestingly, Teemo’s debut lines up with 2XKO’s transition from closed beta to early access.
So far, the confirmed roster includes Ahri, Blitzcrank, Braum, Darius, Ekko, Illaoi, Jinx, Vi, and Yasuo.
Riot has also been laying the groundwork for 2XKO’s competitive future. In September, the company announced support for 22 community-led tournaments, including major events like DreamHack Atlanta, through its First Impact initiative.
