Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa officially returned to Twitch today, on June 20, 2025—marking exactly two years since her high-profile departure to Kick in June 2023. During her time with Kick, she reportedly earned around $38 million, a massive financial leap that more than doubled her previous income, according to various reports.

Her return wasn’t quietly announced either. Amouranth shared a playful video on X (formerly Twitter), in which she’s seen refueling a green “Kick Com” vehicle that transforms into Twitch’s signature purple. The video cheekily ends with a SpongeBob SquarePants meme flashing “$38 million later.”

While fans are excited to see her back, one big question remains: is this an exclusive return to Twitch or part of a broader multistreaming plan? Kick has recently moved away from locking creators into exclusive deals, so there’s room for flexibility. That said, Amouranth’s teaser seemed pretty conclusive, leaving many to assume Twitch will now be her primary base once again.

But her return to the spotlight hasn’t been without baggage. Amouranth has been the subject of intense scrutiny in recent months, particularly due to a series of personal controversies that have drawn major media attention.

One of the most alarming incidents occurred in March 2025, when her Houston home was invaded by three armed assailants while she was asleep. According to details she shared on social media, the attackers pistol-whipped her and demanded access to her cryptocurrency accounts. In a chaotic sequence of events, she was able to lead them to another building on her property, where her husband Nick Lee exchanged gunfire with them. Amouranth believes she may have shot one of the robbers during the altercation. Though she suffered injuries, they were not life-threatening, and she later posted surveillance footage that stirred a wave of discussion about her safety and the risks of publicizing wealth online.

Just two months later, in May 2025, Amouranth’s personal life again spilled into the public eye during a dramatic livestream on Kick. During the stream, her husband accused her of infidelity and expressed frustration over their declining monthly earnings—from $2 million to $1.5 million, reportedly due to reduced OnlyFans revenue. The confrontation, which went on for hours, ended with Amouranth visibly distressed and calling the police, claiming she felt threatened. Clips of the livestream quickly spread on social media, rekindling conversations about the couple’s troubled history and earlier allegations of abuse.

Reactions to her Twitch return have been mixed. While many longtime fans welcomed her back, others used the opportunity to bring up her recent controversies and ongoing legal disputes.

Historically, Amouranth hasn’t had the smoothest relationship with Twitch. She’s been banned multiple times (9 times to be precise) for pushing the platform’s content boundaries, often involving provocative content or attire. Whether Twitch will adopt a different stance this time or if another suspension is just around the corner remains to be seen.
