The Arknights universe is expanding once again, and this time it’s heading into full 3D.
Arknights: Endfield, the highly anticipated free-to-play RPG, will officially launch worldwide on January 22, 2026, for PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android, publisher GRYPHLINE and developer Mountain Contour confirmed during The Game Awards 2025.
The release date reveal came with a high-energy trailer featuring an original track, “Give Me Something”, composed and performed by OneRepublic exclusively for the announcement.
Set in the same universe as the original Arknights—a mobile hit with over 100 million downloads—Endfield takes the franchise in a new direction. Instead of tower defense mechanics, Endfield focuses on exploration, strategic real-time combat, and base-building. Players command squads of up to four Operators, combining elemental synergies, tactical coordination, and fast-paced action to overcome challenges.
Arknights: Endfield will launch as a free-to-play title with in-game purchases, following the model of its predecessor.
Fans can pre-register on the official website to secure rewards ahead of launch. The game has already surpassed 30 million pre-registrations worldwide.
