LEGO Batman is back, and this time it’s bigger than ever.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight finally has a confirmed release date, landing on May 29, 2026.
Developed by Traveller’s Tales (TT Games) and published by Warner Bros. Games, the title was first announced at Gamescom Opening Night Live in August 2025 with a vague 2026 window. Now, thanks to a new trailer revealed at The Game Awards 2025, fans know exactly when they’ll be able to step into Gotham once again.
The game will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). A Nintendo Switch 2 version is also confirmed, though its release date remains “TBA,” likely due to the game’s demanding open-world design.
The main campaign spans around 15 hours across six chapters, exploring Batman’s legacy while offering side missions, collectibles, and post-launch DLC.
The reveal trailer showcased new gameplay, highlighting Gotham’s expanded environments, playable heroes, and a rogues’ gallery of villains. TT Games has promised a combat system that mixes combos, stealth, and detective mechanics, while Gotham itself will feature iconic landmarks like Arkham Asylum, Ace Chemicals, Bat Cave, and Wayne Tower. Developers also confirmed they drew inspiration from every Batman movie, TV show, and comic, with access to DC’s archives to ensure authenticity.
