Asmongold and Adin Ross Team Up for a New Streamer Awards Show

Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt and Adin Ross are officially joining forces to create a brand-new Streamer Awards event.

Adin Ross first teased the idea of hosting his own awards show earlier this year, saying he wanted to “do it the right way” and compete with QTCinderella’s established Streamer Awards. Now, with Asmongold stepping in to help, the project looks far more ambitious than a simple one-off event.

Asmongold’s Role in the Event

While Ross initially asked Asmongold to co-host the show with him, Asmongold seems more comfortable taking a step back from the spotlight. During a recent stream, he explained that he’s already secured sponsors and even assembled a production team to ensure the event runs smoothly.

"I locked down a sponsor for it. We have a second sponsor as well. We might be able to get other ones. My hope is that... Actually, I don't want to talk about that publicly because that's business stuff and you know I don't wanna make promises or anything like that but don't worry we got everything set up and i'm also bringing in virtuosos right? We're bringing in legends, wizards, people that are that know how to do what they're doing right? And so I locked in two of them the other day and so That's it."

xQc’s Potential Involvement

Another major name could also be joining the project. Félix “xQc” Lengyel, one of the most-watched streamers on Kick, has hinted at having “insane ideas” for the awards. Asmongold has openly said he’d love to bring xQc on board, whether as a judge, planner, or even a presenter.

“I told Adin I would get involved,” he said, reacting to Asmon’s video. “I don’t wanna leak all my ideas because people always steal them, but I had these ideas that are insane.”

Competition With QTCinderella’s Awards

The move naturally draws comparisons to QTCinderella’s Streamer Awards, which launched in 2022 and quickly became a staple in the community. QT’s event has been praised for spotlighting online creators, but it hasn’t been without controversy. Some influencers have accused it of favoritism or criticized its categories.

Interestingly, QT herself has shown support for Ross and Asmongold’s rival project. She noted that there’s plenty of room for another awards show and even suggested their categories could make the event feel fresh and different from hers.

What We Know So Far

Adin has floated the idea of hosting the event in Los Angeles or Las Vegas, with a tentative timeline of late December 2025. Asmon, meanwhile, emphasized the importance of securing a proper venue, organizing security, and building a credible judging panel.

“I’d be down for it! We gotta figure out categories, hosting, presenting, getting people there, incentivizing people to go there. Let’s see — finding a judge panel, getting a production team, a crew."
“I think we have to do it, realistically, end of December, but that would be really, really early, especially for renting a venue, getting people organized. Security, big security.”

Kick has also chimed in, jokingly offering to host a future event called “The Shame Awards” after Asmongold made a tongue-in-cheek comment about it. While that was clearly in jest, it shows how closely the platform is watching this project.

So far, the response has been largely positive. Many fans are impressed that Asmongold managed to secure financial backing so quickly after returning to streaming. Others are simply excited to see two of the biggest names in the industry working together on something that could rival existing shows
