PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 was held offline in Bucharest, Romania, from October 26 to November 1, 2025, featuring 16 invited teams battling for a $1.25 million prize pool. The tournament followed a Swiss-system group stage (best-of-three) leading into single-elimination playoffs, culminating in a best-of-five Grand Final.

A Fierce Grand Final That Went the Distance

The Grand Final began with Aurora taking early control, securing the first two maps, Dust 2 and Mirage, thanks to a dominant showing from their star rifler Ismailcan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş, who delivered 24 and 18 kills respectively to give his team a 2–0 lead.

However, Legacy refused to go down quietly. They bounced back with strong performances on Train and Inferno, clawing back from the brink with a 19–17 overtime win on the former and a commanding 7–0 start on the latter. Legacy’s Lux was a major driving force in their resurgence, dropping 27 kills on Inferno to force a decider.

The final map, Nuke, saw Aurora regain control with a 3–0 start. Despite a brief five-round streak from Legacy, Aurora closed the series 16–11 after another impactful showing from XANTARES, who was later crowned Tournament MVP, his first-ever LAN MVP award.
