Bethesda is reportedly preparing to bring its Creations system—used to support paid mods—to Fallout 4, according to new reports from community sources and backend activity.

Amazon's Fallout TV series has reignited interest in the franchise, with players turning to Fallout 4 in search of fresh content. Bethesda seems to be taking notice, and if the latest rumors are accurate, a paid mod system could be the next big addition.

This speculation stems from YouTuber JuiceHead, a well-known figure in the Fallout and Bethesda community. In a recent video, he cited multiple sources confirming that Bethesda is actively working on bringing the Creations platform to Fallout 4.

He previously predicted Skyrim’s Creations system before its official reveal—and this time, similar patterns are emerging.

According to JuiceHead, not only has Fallout 4's SteamDB changelog seen frequent backend updates, but its press build has also been modified—suggesting testing is already underway.

The Creations system, already in use in Skyrim and Starfield, allows players to purchase and install premium mods directly through the game, while also showcasing free ones. If implemented in Fallout 4, this could open the door for creators to monetize their content and give players an easier way to access high-quality, curated mods within the game.

Some fans believe this update might arrive ahead of or alongside Fallout's second season on Amazon Prime, which is currently expected to premiere in December 2025. The show has already sparked a major player resurgence across all Fallout titles, with Fallout 4 seeing the biggest spike. Bethesda could be looking to capitalize on that momentum.

Of course, none of this has been officially confirmed by Bethesda, so fans are advised to remain cautiously optimistic.
