Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2026 (The BGIS 2026) Grand Finals are set to take place in Chennai from March 27 to 29, and the final lineup of teams is almost complete.
Eight teams have already secured their spots after a strong run through the Semifinals, while eight more were decided through the Survival Stage today. Here is a full breakdown of where things stand right now.

Semifinals Direct Qualifiers
The BGIS 2026 Semifinals were held from March 12 to 15 in Hyderabad. 24 teams were divided into three groups of eight and played in a double-round robin format. Each team played 16 matches, and the top 8 from the combined standings booked their tickets directly to the Grand Finals.

Survival Stage
The 16 teams that missed out on direct qualification have dropped into the Survival Stage, which runs on March 16 and 17. Out of these 16 teams, only the top eight advance to the Grand Finals. The remaining eight got eliminated from the tournament entirely.

Grand Finals Format and Prize Pool
The Grand Finals will be hosted at the Chennai Trade Centre from March 27 to 29.
All 16 qualified teams will compete across three matchdays, with six matches played each day, bringing the total to 18 matches.
The tournament carries a prize pool of Rs. 4,00,00,000 (4 crore INR), making it one of the largest BGMI events to be held in the country.
The prize pool will be divided among the top 24 teams (8 from the Semifinals + 16 from the Survival Stage) as follows:
