BGIS 2026 Registrations Open December 15: Key Dates, Eligibility, and Prize Pool Details

KRAFTON India has announced that registrations for the 5th edition of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2026 will begin on December 15, 2025.

The tournament, widely regarded as India’s biggest open‑to‑all esports event, will run from January to March 2026 and feature a prize pool of ₹2 Crore.

This marks the start of India’s major LAN esports cycle for the year, following the roadmap revealed at BMIC.

BGIS has consistently stood out for its grassroots approach, giving every player—from casual squads to aspiring pros—a chance to compete.

Key Dates for BGIS 2026

• Registrations Open: December 15, 2025

• Registrations Close: January 4, 2026

• Data Verification: January 5–7, 2026

• In‑Game Qualifiers: January 8–14, 2026

Expected Eligibility (based on past editions)

• Indian citizenship required

• Minimum age: 16 years

• BGMI account level 30 or higher

• Minimum tier: Platinum I

• Valid government ID and in‑game ID for verification
