The high-stakes event ran from November 7–9 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai, marking a historic milestone for Indian esports. Tamil Nadu’s Deputy Chief Minister, Thiru. Udhayanidhi Stalin personally handed over the trophy to the champions.
Hosted by the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT) in collaboration with Skyesports, this event became India’s first-ever state-backed international esports championship.
With a total prize pool of USD 50,000, CEGC not only offered big rewards but also counted towards the official global standings for CS2.
