The WWE Clash in Paris premium live event on August 31, 2025, featured a unique crossover between WWE’s Street Profits and the upcoming video game Borderlands 4.

During the event, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins — better known as The Street Profits — entered the arena wearing Borderlands-inspired gear ahead of their WWE Tag Team Championship match against The Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis).

Their ring attire reflected the colorful, chaotic world of Borderlands, complete with vault-hunting themes and references to the series’ cel-shaded art style.

This wasn’t just a random gimmick — it was a carefully planned move by WWE and Gearbox Software (with publisher 2K Games) to hype up Borderlands 4. And it worked. Fans online couldn’t get enough. On X, one person wrote, “Love the Borderlands-inspired gear by the Street Profits,” while another said the entrance “blew my mind” because of how perfectly it matched their high-energy personalities.

Of course, WWE dabbling in video game crossovers isn’t new. Earlier this year, Drew McIntyre went full Doom Slayer at WrestleMania 41, storming into the Las Vegas arena in Doom: The Dark Ages armor with a Shield Saw in hand.

Borderlands 4 launches on September 12, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and later on Switch
