How to Claim the Free Simpsons Kang & Kodos Glider in Fortnite

Fortnite’s latest crossover with The Simpsons is live, and players can grab a free Kang & Kodos Glider by linking their accounts before February 28, 2026.

Epic Games has gone all out with this collaboration, transforming Fortnite Island into Springfield and packing the mini‑season with themed rewards. Alongside a new Battle Pass and the long‑awaited Sidekicks feature, fans can also claim a limited‑time freebie: the Kang & Kodos Glider. Unlike most cosmetics, this one doesn’t require grinding challenges or spending V‑Bucks; you just need to connect your accounts.

Here’s how it works. To unlock the glider, you’ll need to link your Epic Games account with a MyDisney account. Both are free to set up, and you don’t need any subscription. Once logged into Epic, head to the “Apps and Accounts” section, scroll down to find MyDisney, and sign in. That’s it, the glider will be added to your account.

Now, don’t panic if the reward doesn’t appear instantly. According to the official Fortnite blog, players who already had their accounts connected will see the glider show up by November 16, 2025. For new connections, it might take a little longer, but the item will arrive before the February 28 deadline. If you still don’t see it after that, Epic recommends reaching out to support.

The freebie is only available for a limited time, much like the Stormtrooper skin earlier this year. While there’s a chance the glider could return to the Item Shop later, it’s smarter to claim it now while it costs nothing.
