CD Projekt Red has announced an upcoming crossover between Cyberpunk 2077 and the tactical shooter Arena Breakout: Infinite.

The collaboration was officially revealed on July 20, 2025, through a short cinematic trailer titled "Welcome to Night City, Operators" via the official Arena Breakout: Infinite YouTube channel and across social media platforms.

It shows a mysterious operator stepping out of a vehicle while wearing V’s iconic Samurai jacket from Cyberpunk 2077. A brief glimpse of a Cyberpunk-styled car also features in the cinematic, fueling speculation around upcoming themed content like character cosmetics, weapons, and possibly more.

Shortly after the trailer’s release, Cyberpunk 2077’s social media confirmed the crossover with the message: “Welcome to Night City, Operators! Cyberpunk 2077 x Arena Breakout: Infinite is coming soon!” While no concrete gameplay details have been revealed yet, the promotional push hints at more news around the corner.

The crossover comes on the heels of Arena Breakout: Infinite’s closed beta and the launch of its second season, Crimson Edge, which introduced a new boss, expanded maps, extra weapons, and limited-time game modes. With the game being positioned as a serious contender in the extraction shooter genre—taking on titles like Escape from Tarkov—this Cyberpunk-themed content could attract a wider audience.

Meanwhile, CD Projekt Red has been busy on multiple fronts. Following the recent release of Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3, which added new vehicle systems and photo mode upgrades, the studio also confirmed at Anime Expo 2025 that Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 is in development with a new cast and creative direction. In addition, the much-anticipated sequel, Project Orion, is in the early stages of production.

For fans of either game, this collaboration could be a fun mix of gritty sci-fi aesthetics and hardcore tactical gameplay. Though specifics are still under wraps, it’s clear that both studios are gearing up for something that celebrates their respective styles.
