What Has Been Confirmed So Far?

The news broke through an official post on X (formerly Twitter) by Konami on September 22. The post teased players with the line: “Stealthily take down enemies as Naked Snake in Delta Force!” While this confirms Snake’s arrival, Konami stopped short of revealing a release date or the full scope of content.

Meanwhile, Delta Force’s official X profile hinted at what players might expect: a Nox operator skin styled as Naked Snake, along with references to classic Metal Gear gear like the BandanaCardboard Box, and even “Iconic Voice Acting,” hinting at David Hayter, the legendary voice behind Solid and Naked Snake.

Delta Force, developed by Team Jade, is rolling out its latest update, Season 10: War Ablaze, which emphasizes high-octane aerial combat, strategic recon, and environmental hazards such as wildfires. It introduced a new map (Fault), Operator (Raptor), modes (Air Superiority, Team Deathmatch), vehicles (Jet), weapons (MK47 Mutant, Marlin Lever-Action Rifle), and additional collaboration features. This crossover fits neatly into that timeline, though it hasn’t been clarified whether it will be bundled directly with the new season.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, a remake of the PlayStation 2 classic, has already seen massive success, selling over 1 million copies within its first two days on PC and consoles. On the other hand, Delta Force recently hit a record peak of 213,519 concurrent players on Steam, making it one of the most active shooters this month.
