Doja Cat Joins Fortnite’s Fortnitemares 2025 as Mother of Thorns Boss

Doja Cat is officially joining Fortnite’s Fortnitemares 2025 event with a brand-new skin called “Mother of Thorns,” and yes, she’s expected to show up as a mini boss in Battle Royale.

The reveal came during her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she played a game of “Real or Fake” involving Fortnite skins. The final reveal? Her own character, described as a “trickster, enchantress, and sorceress,” complete with a throne that she sat on during the segment.

If you’re wondering when you’ll get to face off against her in-game, mark your calendar for October 9. That’s when Fortnitemares officially kicks off, according to reliable leaker HypeX.

And it’s not just Doja Cat bringing the heat; this year’s Halloween event is stacked with collaborations. We’re talking Poppy’s Playtime, Scooby Doo, and possibly even horror icons like Jason Voorhees and Ghostface, if the leaks pan out.

For Doja Cat, players can expect two skins, two Backblings, two emotes, Pickaxes, Jam Tracks, and Wraps tied to her character in the Fortnite Shop. Each skin might cost around the standard 1,500 V-Bucks, while emotes, wraps, and jam tracks could be priced at 500 V-Bucks. The bundle is estimated to cost between 2,800 and 3,200 V-Bucks.

This isn't her first Fortnite journey. She’s had emotes and Jam Tracks featured before, but this marks her debut as a full-fledged playable character.

The Fortnitemares event will run through early November, wrapping up just in time for a rumored mini-season themed around The Simpsons. That’ll close out Chapter 6, with Chapter 7 expected to launch in December.
