Techland has revealed the full voice cast bringing protagonist Kyle Crane to life in Dying Light: The Beast, and it’s clear the character’s trademark foul‑mouthed charm is here to stay.
In a newly released YouTube video, the studio introduced the actors behind Crane across multiple languages — each proudly claiming to be the “real” Kyle Crane, complete with a barrage of in‑character swearing. And it's hilarious!
According to Techland, several familiar voices are reprising their roles. Roger Craig Smith returns for the English version, known not only as Crane but also as Bruce Wayne in the Batman: Arkham series and Ezio Auditore in Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection.
The German voice will once again be Tino Kießling, while Fábio Azevedo reprises Crane in Brazilian Portuguese, Daichi Endo in Japanese, and Anatoliy Nox in Russian.
Joining them are new regional voices to expand the game’s localisation reach: Mario Bastelica (French), David Robles (Spanish), Yuhang Wang (Simplified Chinese), and Szymon Mysłakowski (Polish). Each brings their own spin to Crane’s grit, sarcasm, and relentless drive for revenge.
The studio even confirmed that the game contains a staggering 232 F‑bombs, making it one of the most profanity‑laden entries in the franchise. This fits the tone of The Beast, which sees Crane return after years of captivity to hunt down his tormentor, The Baron — a story teased in the recent “Torture & Suffering” trailer and explored further in a developer diary.
Dying Light: The Beast launches September 18, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S. Pre‑orders are live now [details], and fans can expect a mix of brutal parkour combat, a darker narrative, and plenty of Crane’s unfiltered personality when the game arrives.
