Elden Ring Nightreign is bringing back its fan-favorite Everdark Sovereign bosses in pairs starting today, July 10, giving players another shot at tackling some of the toughest foes in the expansion.

These enhanced versions of Nightlords—known as Everdark Sovereigns—were introduced last month by FromSoftware as part of the Nightreign post-launch content. Now, they're making a limited-time return in rotating pairs over the next three weeks, as confirmed by the official Elden Ring X (formerly Twitter) account.

The upcoming schedule kicks off with Gaping Jaw and Darkdrift Knight, available from July 10 to July 17. After that, the bosses will rotate weekly as follows:

  • July 17 – 24: Sentient Pest & Darkdrift Knight

  • July 24 – 31: Gaping Jaw & Sentient Pest

These are not new encounters but rematches, aimed at players who may have missed the original limited-time events. And no, thankfully, you won’t be forced to face both bosses at once. It’s more about giving players multiple chances to earn rewards and refine strategies.

For those itching for new content, don’t worry—FromSoftware isn't stopping with reruns. In the same update thread, the studio also revealed the next batch of bosses slated to get the Everdark Sovereign treatment. Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast, and Fissure in the Fog are all in line for their upgraded debuts. While the release dates haven’t been shared yet, it’s clear that the developers have plenty in store to keep players on their toes.
