Epic Games Store Reveals Two Free Games for March 12

The Epic Games Store has announced its next set of free games, and players can look forward to claiming Cozy Grove and Isonzo starting March 12.


The two titles, valued at roughly $45 combined, will be available to grab for a full week, running until March 19.


Claim windows open and close at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET / 5 p.m. CET.


This makes them the third and fourth free games Epic has offered in March 2026. The previous giveaway featured My Night Job and Boxes: Lost Fragments, which wrapped up on March 5.


Two Very Different Games, One Great Deal

Isonzo is a gritty, multiplayer first-person shooter developed by Dutch studio BlackMill Games. It is the third game in the studio's World War 1 FPS trilogy, following Verdun and Tannenberg. The game leans heavily into historical authenticity, featuring large team-based battles with period-accurate weapons, equipment, and tactics.


If you are used to fast-paced modern military shooters, Isonzo will feel quite different. It is slower, more grounded, and demands a bit of patience. The game holds a 67 average score on MetaCritic and has 82% "Very Positive" user reviews on Steam.


Cozy Grove, on the other hand, is a calm collectathon set on a magical island. The game's visual style draws comparisons to the hand-drawn aesthetic of Don't Starve, while its real-time structure feels similar to Animal Crossing. Each day, players complete tasks that include exploring the island, gathering resources, crafting items, and helping spirits work through memories from their past lives. It is the kind of game you pick up for 30 minutes and somehow lose two hours to.


Cozy Grove has earned more than 89% "Very Positive" reviews on Steam and holds an average rating of 71 on MetaCritic.


What Is Currently Free on Epic

Before the March 12 window opens, here is a look at what is available right now and what is coming:

  • Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms: Raistlin's Renown Pack is free until March 12

  • Turnip Boy Robs a Bank ($14.99) is free until March 12

  • Cozy Grove ($14.99) will be free from March 12 to March 19

  • Isonzo ($29.99) will be free from March 12 to March 19
