The Esports Awards 2025 has officially revealed its finalists and categories, with this year’s ceremony set to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 19, 2025.

The event will once again spotlight the biggest names, games, and organizations in competitive gaming, while also marking the tenth anniversary of the awards.
This year’s lineup features 21 categories, including staples like Esports Game of the Year, Esports Content Group of the Year, and Esports Host of the Year. However, there are some notable changes. The Esports Coverage Platform of the Year award has been dropped, replaced by Esports Supporting Platform of the Year. That means no esports publications are in the running this time. The Esports Journalist of the Year category, last seen in 2023, also remains absent.
According to Michael Ashford, CEO of the Esports Awards, the event continues to “shine a light on the best in esports and gaming.” He added that the team is “thrilled to present our tenth anniversary awards ceremony” and to bring the celebration back to Las Vegas after hosting a special Decade Awards in Riyadh earlier this year.
The ceremony will be followed by PWR UP, an esports industry conference scheduled for November 20. The conference will feature panels and forums led by professionals, though the lineup of speakers has yet to be announced.
