Fortnite is about to get even more electrifying. NVIDIA and Epic Games are teaming up for the first-ever NVIDIA GeForce RTX Cup, a global solo Battle Royale tournament where the best players can snag not just a monetary prize, but brand-new GeForce RTX 5080 GPUs and rare in-game rewards.
With GPUs harder to find than a Victory Royale these days, this tournament is a golden chance to flex your skills and maybe walk away with hardware worth nearly $1,000. Let’s break it all down so you’re ready to queue up.

How to Participate
Getting in is simple if you meet the requirements:
Launch Fortnite and head to the Compete tab.
Look for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX Cup banner.
Queue up during your region’s start time.
Play up to 10 matches in the 3-hour session.
Eligibility Requirements
To keep things fair, here’s what you’ll need:
Rank Requirement: Gold Rank or higher in Battle Royale Ranked, Zero Build Ranked, or Reload Ranked.
Tournament History: At least 14 tournaments played in the last 180 days.
Account Level: Level 350+ on your Epic Games account.
Age: Minimum age 13 (with parental consent if under 18).
Security: Multi-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled on your Epic account.
Region Lock: You can only compete in your home server region.
Restrictions: No participation if you live in prize-restricted regions (e.g., Turkey, Russia).
