Epic Games looks to be expanding Fortnite’s newest cosmetic feature, Sidekicks, with a major collaboration involving Paramount IPs.

According to reliable insiders like SamLeakss, internal files referencing “Paramount” Sidekicks were discovered on November 23, 2025, and quickly amplified by other well‑known leakers such as HYPEX and ShiinaBR. While no official release date has been confirmed, the content is expected to arrive alongside Chapter 7.
Sidekicks were introduced on October 30, 2025, and they’ve already become one of the more talked‑about additions to Fortnite. If you haven’t tried them yet, Sidekicks are customizable companion characters, think of them as pets or mini‑friends, that follow you in Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, and other modes. You can personalize their traits, names, accessories, and styles. They’re visible only to you and your party, but they react to the game world in fun ways.
The first wave included Epic originals like Peels, Bonesy, Spike, and Lil’ Raptor, plus crossover characters such as Plopper and Itchy & Scratchy from The Simpsons.
The Paramount deal could open the door to a wide range of franchises. Based on speculation and past collaborations, here are some of the names floating around:
SpongeBob SquarePants – Gary the Snail, Patrick Star (mini), or Plankton.
Dora the Explorer – Boots the Monkey, Backpack, or Map.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Mini versions of Leonardo, Raphael, or Splinter.
Transformers – Ravage, Laserbeak, or even a mini Optimus Prime.
South Park – Towelie, Mr. Hankey, or Terrance & Phillip.
PAW Patrol – Chase or Marshall.
Sonic the Hedgehog (Movies) – Tails or Knuckles in their film designs.
Some of these franchises, like TMNT and Transformers, have already appeared in Fortnite as skins. Epic also has a history of working with Nickelodeon properties, including Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. Adding Paramount IPs feels like a natural extension of that strategy. As per reports by multiple insiders, the collaboration is real, but the exact lineup of Sidekicks remains under wraps.
Looking ahead, Chapter 7 already promises new mechanics like driveable Reboot Vans for reviving allies, plus crossovers with Kill Bill and Back to the Future. With Paramount Sidekicks potentially joining the mix, Fortnite fans have plenty to look forward to. For now, we’ll need to wait for Epic Games to confirm details.
