Fortnite could soon welcome another major crossover with Warner Bros., if recent leaks are to be believed.

The speculation began when popular Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR shared that a Warner Bros. mode “is/was in development,” sparking new discussions across the gaming community.

While the post left fans guessing, the potential of such a crossover is huge. Warner Bros. owns a massive portfolio of iconic franchises — from DC Comics heroes like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, to the wizarding world of Harry Potter, the timeless Looney Tunes, Mortal Kombat fighters, Game of Thrones characters, and even monsters like Godzilla. Fortnite has already hosted several cosmetic collaborations with these properties in the past, but the mention of a “mode” suggests something far more ambitious.

The phrasing “is/was” left many players confused, but it seems to tie back to earlier reports. In January 2025, ShiinaBR claimed that Warner Bros.’ decision to slow down its Fortnite crossovers was linked to the launch of its own game, MultiVersus. For years, Epic Games and Warner Bros. maintained a strong partnership, especially through DC-themed events and skins. However, those collaborations noticeably declined last year. The leaker claimed this was due to Warner Bros. focusing its attention on MultiVersus, which limited its willingness to support Fortnite at the same time.

That strategy now appears to be changing. With MultiVersus officially shut down earlier this year, Warner Bros. is reportedly looking to reinvest in collaborations with other games. As per ShiinaBR, Fortnite is high on that list, which could explain the recent collab like Superman and Robin.

If true, this shift signals that Warner Bros. may be "doubling down" on its cross-media presence within Fortnite, not just through cosmetics but potentially through dedicated modes or events.

For now, these details remain unconfirmed, but the prospect of a larger Warner Bros. collaboration is enough to stir plenty of excitement in the Fortnite community.
