Free Fire Max Asia Invitational FFMAI 2025: Dates, Format, Teams, Prize Pool Revealed

The Free Fire Max Asia Invitational (FFMAI) 2025 is officially set to begin on December 5, bringing together the top 26 teams from across Asia -- India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Fans in India will be especially excited, as big names like GodLike Esports, Total Gaming Esports, S8UL Elite, and Orangutan x TSG are confirmed to participate.
Garena has revealed the complete format for the event, which will feature both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.

Tournament Schedule
The invitational will run for three weeks, from December 5 to December 21. Each week focuses on a different stage of competition:
Week 1 (Dec 5–7): Battle Royale Play-ins
Week 2 (Dec 11–14): Battle Royale Main Event
Week 3 (Dec 18–21): Clash Squad Main Event

Format
18 teams → split into 3 groups of 6.
18 matches in total.
Each team plays 12 matches.
Top 12 teams qualify for Grand Finals.
Top 16 teams move to Clash Squad stage.
Grand Finals (14 December 2025)
Format: Champion Rush
12 teams compete.
A team becomes “Champion Eligible” after hitting 80 points.
After reaching 80 points, if that team gets a Booyah, they instantly win the title.
A maximum of 10 matches will be played.
If no eligible team gets a Booyah, the highest total points team becomes the FFMAI 2025 champion.
Clash Squad Format (18–21 December 2025)

Features top 16 teams from the Battle Royale Main Event.
Played in a single-elimination bracket.
Teams are eliminated immediately upon losing.
18 matches total across three days.
Each team will play 12 matches.
Most matches: Best-of-3 (Bo3).
Semifinals & Grand Final: Best-of-5 (Bo5).
