Granblue Fantasy: Relink has officially surpassed 2 million units sold globally across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam.
The action RPG from Cygames initially launched in February 2024 during an extremely crowded release window that featured heavy hitters like Persona 3 Reload, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and Tekken 8. Despite being somewhat overshadowed at launch, the game still managed to sell over a million copies within its first two weeks — a strong start considering the competition.
Now, roughly 16 months later, Granblue Fantasy: Relink has doubled that milestone, proving to be a slow-burn success.
To celebrate the occasion, the developer released special commemorative artwork and rolled out a major limited-time discount. The title is currently 60% off on both PlayStation and Steam, with the sale running until July 10 at 10 AM PT on Steam and July 16 at 11:59 PM PT on PlayStation.
Relink’s steady growth is backed by continuous post-launch support. Over the past year, Cygames has introduced several updates, adding new playable characters and fine-tuning gameplay mechanics based on community feedback. The game also runs well on Steam Deck and has received positive critical reception.
