GTA Online Mansions Update Hints at GTA 6 Vehicles and Characters

The latest GTA Online update has added more than just mansions, with fans now convinced it also hides teasers for Grand Theft Auto 6.

Rockstar Games rolled out the “Safehouse in the Hills” update on December 10, giving players the chance to purchase luxury properties, but sharp-eyed fans quickly noticed new vehicles and even a possible character hint that may tie directly into the next installment.

Owning mansions is the headline feature of the update, with three lavish properties available for purchase. Prices range between $11.5 million and $12.8 million depending on customization, making them some of the most expensive assets in GTA Online. Alongside the homes, Rockstar added new missions, perks for GTA+ subscribers, and the return of Michael De Santa, one of GTA 5’s three main protagonists.

The update also introduced several vehicles that fans believe are lifted straight from GTA 6. The Buffalo STX Pursuit, a police car previously spotted in GTA 6 screenshots, is now available. Two other vehicles—the Bravado Buffalo Police cruiser and the Shitzu Keitora pickup truck—also appear, both of which were featured in GTA 6 trailers.

Perhaps the most intriguing discovery is a possible tease involving Jimmy De Santa, Michael’s son. In the opening cutscene, Michael’s wife Amanda mentions Jimmy, saying, “and our son is finally moving away from home”.

Players who own the Arcade upgrade in their mansions even receive a message from Jimmy. The message reads: “Did you meet my parents?? WTF. I tell them I’m moving out of state and they immediately go looking for a replacement kid? Ugh whatever. Welcome to the family. I guess?”

This has fueled speculation that Jimmy could appear in GTA 6, much like Johnny Klebitz from GTA 4 made a cameo in GTA 5 (Trevor’s chapter).

For now, these theories remain unconfirmed. GTA 6 was originally slated for May 2026 but has since been delayed to November 19, 2026. Whether Jimmy De Santa truly makes the leap to GTA 6 remains to be seen, but Rockstar has once again succeeded in keeping the community buzzing.
