Helldivers 2 will officially release on Xbox Series X|S on August 26, 2025, and it’s bringing along a major crossover — the Halo: ODST Legendary Warbond.
Originally launched as a PlayStation and PC exclusive back in February 2024, Helldivers 2 has since become one of Arrowhead’s biggest success stories. Now, with its arrival on Xbox, players across all platforms will also get access to the game’s very first Legendary Warbond, themed after Halo’s iconic Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODST).
Launch Details and Timings
The collaboration goes live on August 26 at 5 AM PT / 1 PM BST, which lines up globally at:
Pacific Time (PT): 5:00 AM, Aug 26
Eastern Time (ET): 8:00 AM, Aug 26
British Summer Time (BST): 1:00 AM, Aug 26
India Standard Time (IST): 5:30 PM, Aug 26
Japan Standard Time (JST): 9:00 PM, Aug 26
Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST): 10:00 PM, Aug 26
Arrowhead confirmed the launch through the PlayStation Blog, noting that while this crossover nods heavily to Xbox history, the Legendary Warbond will be available across PlayStation, PC, and Xbox.
What’s Inside the Legendary Warbond
Priced at 1500 Super Credits, this Warbond introduces exclusive gear that Halo fans will instantly recognize. It includes:
Weapons: MA5C Assault Rifle (with ammo counter), M6C/SOCOM Pistol (suppressor-equipped), M90A Shotgun, and the M7S SMG.
Armor Sets: A-9 Helljumper Armor and A-35 Recon Armor, both with the “Feet First” passive boost (reduced noise, immunity to leg injuries, and extended detection range).
Capes: “Honored Heirloom” and “Eye of the Clandestine”
Cosmetics: ODST-themed player cards, titles, and the Mean Green pattern for hellpods, shuttles, exosuits, and FRVs.

Arrowhead described the Legendary Warbond as a “step up” from previous offerings, not only in price but also in value, stating it’s “packed with gear worthy of the legend.”
A Few Things to Note
It’s important to remember that the Legendary Warbond is not compatible with the Premium Warbond Token, launching the same day in the Super Citizen Edition. Players will need to use Super Credits to unlock this Halo-inspired gear set.
