Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Is Now Steam Deck Verified

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has officially received Steam Deck Verification.

This new verification ensures that players can enjoy Indy's latest quest with optimal performance on the go.

MachineGames recently released a hotfix specifically designed to enhance the Steam Deck experience.

The most significant improvement is the implementation of optimized settings that automatically activate when playing on Steam Deck hardware.

According to the developer notes, all fresh game profiles will now default to these specially tuned configurations.

The key technical change involves the "Texture Pool Size" setting, which now defaults to a unique "Steam Deck" value when running on the portable device.

This specialized setting was created to prevent the game from exceeding RAM limits that previously caused crashes on the handheld system.

MachineGames clarified that while this particular setting is locked to the optimized value, players still retain the freedom to adjust other graphics options based on their preferences.

Steam Deck Verification is Valve's official stamp of approval that confirms a game runs well on their handheld gaming PC.

This verification status means Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has passed Valve's compatibility tests, ensuring controls, interface elements, and performance all meet the standards required for a smooth gaming experience on the portable device.

The Steam Deck optimization comes alongside several other improvements in the hotfix. Check it out here.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle initially launched on Xbox and PC platforms before making its way to PlayStation last month.
