PlayStation Black Friday 2026 Sale: Dates, Deals, and What to Expect

PlayStation has announced its 2026 Black Friday sale on the PlayStation Store, running from November 4 to November 30.
Sony says “you’ll find deep discounts up to 75% off, across thousands of PS5, PS4 and PS VR2 games, expansions, and DLC.”
According to the PlayStation Blog, there are four dates to remember:
Wednesday, November 4: The sale starts on the PlayStation Store.
Monday, November 16: The sale refreshes with an updated set of offers.
Friday, November 20: Some discounts expire at 23:59.
Monday, November 30: The sale ends at 23:59.
The November 16 refresh and the November 20 cut-off matter most. A game discounted early on may not carry the same price after the refresh. Some deals also end ten days before the sale does, so waiting for Black Friday could backfire.
Sony also notes that “promotions and discount percentages may vary by region.” Players in India should check their own regional store, since prices may differ from the US or UK.

What's About Hardware?
Sony’s announcement covers games and add-ons only. It does not mention console prices, PS VR2, DualSense controllers, or PlayStation Plus.
Last year offers some context. In 2025, Sony announced its hardware deals on November 18, with offers starting November 21. Sony also usually reveals a Black Friday console bundle, and last year’s was Fortnite-themed. This year, no bundle has been mentioned.
The $100 console cut last year largely cancelled out the PS5 price hike from the month before. Nothing guarantees a repeat, but there is one sign of hope.
Is There Any Way to Save on a PS5 Right Now?
Yes, with refurbished units. Sony is offering $40 off refurbished PS5 bundles that include DualSense controllers. The Digital Edition bundle starts at $518, while the disc-drive model costs $568.
Sony is also offering up to $400 to players who trade in their PS5 console and controllers. This refurb push likely stems from ongoing stock issues with RAM.
