All November 2026 Game Releases: It's GTA 6 Month

10 min read

November 2026 belongs to GTA 6, but Zelda, Warcraft, and indie devs are fighting back.

Ten months into 2026, titles like Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, Pokemon Pokopia, Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, Crimson Desert, 007: First Light, Forza Horizon 6, Mixtape, Paralives, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, Marvel’s Wolverine, The Blood of Dawnwalker, and Control Resonant have all made strong impressions. Some are already being floated as serious Game of the Year contenders.

Most other major publishers have steered clear of November. What remains is a Nintendo Switch 2 wave of remakes and ports, a new World of Warcraft, the annual Football Manager, and a long list of remasters and indies. Roughly 50 titles have dates.

Obviously, it's GTA 6 month!

This is the one. After more than a decade since GTA V, multiple delays, and an estimated billion-dollar development budget, Rockstar is finally dropping the most anticipated video game of the generation. Set in the sprawling state of Leonida with a vibrant modern-day Vice City at its heart, Grand Theft Auto VI follows dual protagonists Lucia and Jason in a Bonnie-and-Clyde style crime story packed with chaos, satire, and the densest open world Rockstar has ever built. Pre-loading starts November 12. Expect the internet to stop working for a few days.

The full game drops on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with no PC version available at launch. The Standard Edition will go for about $79.99, while the Ultimate Edition comes in at $100.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time arrives November 5 as a Switch 2 exclusive.

This is pure nostalgia rocket fuel with modern polish. Nintendo’s full ground-up remake of the 1998 masterpiece arrives with completely overhauled visuals, fully voiced cutscenes, expanded dialogue, a free camera, a proper jump button, smoother movement, and even the ability to hum songs into the Switch 2 microphone (or use a real ocarina) to play the in-game instrument. It’s the definitive way to experience one of the greatest games ever made, timed perfectly as big-budget counter-programming while the rest of the industry is busy with Vice City.

What Else Is Landing on Switch 2?

Nintendo’s console gets plenty of company this month. Stellar Blade Complete Edition also arrives November 5. The game launched on PS5 in 2024 as a PlayStation exclusive and came to PC a year later. It never reached other consoles until now. The Complete Edition includes both DLC extensions, the NieR: Automata crossover and the Goddess of Victory: Nikke collaboration. Physical copies come in a standard box or a steelbook.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition arrives the same day. Players can pick between a Quality mode targeting 30 FPS at 1440p and a Performance mode targeting 40 FPS at 1080p. Handheld mode targets 30 FPS.

On November 12, Metaphor: ReFantazio makes its Nintendo debut. The RPG first launched in October 2024 on PS4, PS5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.

Pikmin 4 also gets a Switch 2 Edition that day, bundled with Dandori Academy. The new mode has you collecting treasure as quickly as possible across a variety of stages. Exams run every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with online leaderboards, medals, and three difficulty levels. A total of 72 stages will be released over time.

Gothic 3 Classic follows on November 24 for Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series. The Let’s Sing franchise also gets its first native Switch 2 versions on November 3.

World of Warcraft: Forever is also there

World of Warcraft: Forever launches November 4 on PC. The beta began on September 17, 2026. The game is built around the original 2004 setting and gameplay, but it adds new content and storylines not found in the original.

Blizzard describes it as a new branch that will run alongside the modern game and World of Warcraft Classic. The difference is in the approach. Classic re-enacts the original expansion schedule. Forever instead expands the original setting in new directions.

Football Manager 27 and Warhammer Survivors

Football Manager 27 arrives November 10 on PC, PS5, Xbox, and mobile via Netflix. The annual entry promises “greater control, smoother discovery and a more enticing football world.”

Warhammer Survivors also lands November 10 across PC, PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, Switch 2, and mobile. It comes from the developers of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun. Players can choose from over 40 champions across the Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar universes.

Remasters and Retro Revivals

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered arrives November 3 on PC, PS5, Xbox, Switch, and Switch 2. The arena brawler is completely remastered with local co-op and new online play.

DreamWorks Shrek 2 Remastered lands November 10 as a current-gen upgrade of the PS2-era film tie-in. Barbie Rewind follows on November 12 from Digital Eclipse and Atari. It collects 16 Barbie games released between 1991 and 2007, plus one unreleased title.

Zero Parades: Director’s Cut also reaches PS5 on November 3. It is a tabletop-inspired RPG built on sharp dialogue and intricate skill checks.

Which Indie Games Should You Wishlist?

November is full of smaller releases worth a look. Faraway from Annapurna Interactive arrives November 5. It is an arcade puzzle game about guiding a shooting star and forming constellations. Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School lands the same day with solo or co-op play across an all-new campus and a day-one Game Pass release. Gravhounds enters early access on November 2 as a 1 to 4 player co-op action builder where bio-engineered dogs defend a base on hostile planets.

Where the Seeds Fall on PS5 flips the climbing genre on its head. It is a descent down a colossal world tree. Hope in the City is an art-based detective story set on the streets of Shenyang, China. Players turn a young artist’s sketches into evidence as her family mystery deepens. Utopium on November 16 mixes drug-fuelled revenge action with Hotline Miami vibes.

Cozy fans have options too. Milki Delivery follows a bike-riding farmer and a pet cow. Littlelands is a claymation-style life sim entering early access. Moomin: Midsummer Madness brings Tove Jansson’s books to a hand-drawn point-and-click adventure. Lightyear Frontier reaches version 1.0 on November 4, and Rangers Path: National Park Simulator gets a full release and console debut on November 17.
