Krafton’s life-simulation game inZOI is officially making the jump to PlayStation 5 in the first half of 2026.

The announcement marks the next big step for the Early Access title, which has already gained a strong foothold on PC since its March launch. According to the developers, it has sold over one million copies, making it one of the fastest-selling Korean AAA games.

The PS5 version is set to be fully optimized for console play, with Krafton promising the same robust features found on PC. Controls and performance will be reworked to ensure a smooth, intuitive experience for controller users.

While this is welcome news for PlayStation fans eager for more life-sim options, Xbox players will have to wait, as a release on Microsoft’s console is still "under consideration" according to Krafton’s official blog post.

inZOI has been marketed as a modern rival to The Sims, built on Unreal Engine 5 and offering realistic visuals, AI-driven creative tools, and deep customization. Players can design characters, build detailed environments, and even create textures or 3D models from simple text prompts or real-world images.

Early Access reviews initially leaned "Mostly Positive," though more recent feedback has turned mixed due to missing social features and gameplay depth.

Krafton is also expanding the game’s reach with a Mac release on August 20, 2025, requiring an Apple Silicon M2 or newer and 16GB of unified memory. On the same day, the free DLC Island Getaway will launch, adding the new resort location of Cahaya.
