IShowSpeed and Jynxzi to Host $100K Fortnite Invitational on September 17

IShowSpeed has officially locked in the date and format for his first-ever esports event — a massive $100,000 Fortnite tournament co-hosted with fellow creator Jynxzi.

The event, called the Droptics Invitational Featuring Fortnite, will take place on September 17 at 3 PM Eastern Time, bringing together 90 invited creators and 10 open slots for players who want to earn their way in.

This marks a new chapter for IShowSpeed, who’s best known for his high-energy streams and a following of over 43 million YouTube subscribers and 2 million Twitch followers. Now, he’s stepping into the role of event organizer, teaming up with Droptics — the redness relief eye drops brand — to make it happen.

The announcement came during a livestream on Speed’s U.S. tour, where he called Jynxzi to share the news.
