EA FC 25 topped PlayStation’s sales chart for June 2025, with Death Stranding 2 and Rematch rounding out the top three, while Stellar Blade saw a surprising resurgence in PS5 sales following its PC debut.

According to data shared by Alinea Analytics, EA’s annual football franchise reclaimed the top spot by selling 905,000 copies last month on PlayStation, driven largely by a steep discount that dropped the game to $13.99 in several regions. This aggressive pricing move, combined with a new season pass for Ultimate Team and anticipation around Euro 25-26 qualifiers, gave the title a timely boost. It marked the game’s best month since March and pushed lifetime PlayStation sales past 19.2 million.

Coming in strong at 2nd, Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding 2 sold 687,000 copies in its launch week, eventually reaching around 850,000 by the end of June. The game also recorded the highest premium revenue among all PlayStation titles that month. Despite trailing behind other PlayStation Studios releases in sheer volume, its player engagement is solid—with nearly a third clocking 20+ hours of playtime. Notably, its performance in China, second only to the U.S., hints at an even broader reach once the PC release rolls.

New arcade soccer title Rematch took the 3rd spot with 569,000 copies sold. Developed by Sloclap, the game has found a sweet spot among fans of competitive sports and action games. It now sits at 680,000 units sold on PlayStation, complementing its 1.4 million Steam sales.

Not far behind, Elden Ring: Nightreign secured 4th with 558,000 units sold, showing a slight dip from May but still maintaining strong momentum.

Meanwhile, Forza Horizon 5 reached a major milestone at 5th with 555,000 more copies sold in June, bringing its PS5 total close to 2.9 million. That figure makes it the first Xbox-published title to cross that threshold on PlayStation. A mid-June price cut likely helped boost those numbers.

Further down the chart, long-running juggernauts made their presence felt. GTA V sold another 431,000 copies in June, Minecraft followed with 416,000—fueled by movie hype and a major update—while The Last of Us: Part II snuck into the top 10 with 150,000 sales, supported by a Days of Play discount.

Stellar Blade returned to the top 10, selling 241,000 additional copies on PS5—without any price drop. The sudden uptick came directly after its PC release on June 11. According to sales data, PS5 purchases rose from 1.83 million to nearly 2.1 million in just four weeks.
