KizunaAI Joins Fortnite: Bundle Release Date, Tournament, Full Content List

KizunaAI, the pioneering VTuber, is officially joining Fortnite as part of a landmark collaboration that marks the first time a virtual YouTuber has entered the battle royale universe.

Epic Games has confirmed that the crossover will debut on January 16, 2026, with a full bundle of themed cosmetics available in the Item Shop.


For those unfamiliar, Kizuna AI is widely recognized as the face that launched the VTuber phenomenon. Her channel, A.I.Channel, began in 2016 and quickly rose to prominence with variety content, gaming streams, and music performances.


While not the very first VTuber, she was the one who brought mainstream legitimacy to the format, setting the stage for agencies, concerts, and million-subscriber talents that followed.


After her farewell concert in February 2022, Kizuna AI went on a three-year hiatus. She returned in February 2025 with the song Kamone. Her original voice actress, Nozomi Kasuga, also resumed her role.


Now, Fortnite is set to welcome her into its ever-expanding roster of pop culture icons. This isn’t her first crossover, though. She has previously appeared in titles like Azur Lane, Project Tokyo Dolls, Super Mecha Champions, and Neptunia Virtual Stars.

Kizuna AI Cup

Before the bundle hits the shop, players can compete in the KizunaAI Cup on January 13/14, 2026, for free rewards. This Duo tournament allows participants across all platforms to play up to ten matches in a three-hour window.


  • Oceania (OCE) → January 13, 2026 | 12:30 PM – 03:30 PM

  • Asia → January 13, 2026 | 02:30 PM – 05:30 PM

  • Middle East (ME) → January 13, 2026 | 08:30 PM – 11:30 PM

  • Europe (EU) → January 13, 2026 | 11:30 PM – 02:30 AM

  • Brazil (BR) → January 14, 2026 | 02:30 AM – 05:30 AM

  • North America Central (NAC/NAE) → January 14, 2026 | 05:30 AM – 08:30 AM

  • North America West (NAW) → January 14, 2026 | 07:30 AM – 10:30 AM


High placements and eliminations will earn points, with top performers unlocking the Kizuna AI outfit and Wings Back Bling for free.


Cosmetics in the Bundle

Based on leaks and dataminer reports, here’s what we can expect:

  • Skins: Kizuna AI outfit and a “Jersey” variant, both featuring LEGO styles.

  • Back Blings: Wings, “Chibi AI-Chan,” and “Lovely Kizuna.”

  • Festival Gear: Themed Microphone, Guitar, and “Hello, Morning” Jam Track.

  • Extras: “Hello, Morning” Emote, “Wrapped in AI” Wrap, and “It’s Kizuna AI” Loading Screen.


The exact pricing for the Kizuna AI cosmetics hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. The full bundle is expected to cost between 2,000 and 2,800 V-Bucks, the individual Kizuna AI outfit around 1,500 V-Bucks, and other items like emotes or back blings could range from 300 to 800 V-Bucks each if sold separately.


NOTE: As per some dataminers, KizunaAI is NOT the next Festival's headliner. She’s set to release in the Item Shop on January 16 as ICON series skin, with the next Festival Pass launching on February 5, 2026.
