Kojima Productions has officially confirmed that it will host a special showcase titled “Beyond the Strand” to celebrate its tenth anniversary.
The event is scheduled for September 23, 2025, with both an in-person gathering at TOHO Cinemas in Roppongi Hills, Japan, and a digital broadcast for global fans.
The showcase will be led by Hideo Kojima himself, and fans can expect not only a look back at the studio’s decade-long journey but also teasers for upcoming projects.
Tickets for the in-person event will go on sale starting September 2.
While the official lineup hasn’t been revealed, speculation is already running wild. With Kojima’s close collaborations, many expect familiar faces such as Norman Reedus to make an appearance.
Beyond the celebrations, the event promises a “glimpse into future projects,” hinting at updates on titles like OD, Kojima’s upcoming experimental game, and possibly new details about Death Stranding 2.
According to previous interviews, Kojima has also been working independently on Physint, a tactical espionage game described as the spiritual successor to Metal Gear Solid.
With Beyond the Strand, fans are not only looking at a heartfelt tribute to Kojima Productions’ past but also a peek into what’s next.
